Ben Austwick photographs the built environment, from stone age megaliths to modernist social housing, using analogue equipment to create a sense of the other-worldly. These are often abandoned and discredited modes of living, distant and alien – but ones we need to re-examine to, in Ben’s words, “break away from the stifling and destructive path of capitalist realism.”
